WES AND ALL RELATED STUFFS ARE COPYRIGHTED/WRITED (however you spell it) BY Focused Comments: Mugshot: Taken from the Dendyn Dynasties intro flash. I took a screenshot of him in Sunset Walk stance just before his first attack at Vash. I removed the right arm and the sword, and remade it by copying and pasting a flipped version of part of the outline of the left arm, and then coloring it in myself. I also removed the background, obviously. Map Sprite: Edited from Eliwood's, believe it or not. Class: I know Fighters don't use swords. But Wes is special. So bleh. Stats: His stats do kinda suck, but they're made up for with his abnormally high Con (and consequently Aid), almost ensuring he will never have to worry about suffering an AS loss, which combined with his decent speed (He IS a squirrel after all, regardless of the berserker archetype) gives him a decent chance to double attack, helping to counterbalance his horrid Hit%. Record: Most of those losses are against Vash. Most of the wins aren't. Weapon: Was Saphiric Blade, but has been changed to Sunset Edge. It's heavy, but has decent power for a D-level sword. Combined with the crit rate (most C and lower weapons have 0) makes it a decent sword. Even if it is more of a giant sharpened club. I wanted to make it Prf-type, but I couldn't find the sprite for it... Weapon Skill Levels: The ones the textbox from the weapon cover up are Spear, Axe, Bow, and Staff. All of which are nonexistent. The two skills are Sunset Walk (made by Ryanide) and Spinning Strike (kind of made by Ryanide. More like inspired by. He does spin around for 3 misses against Vash in the flash, which is where I got it from.) Sunset Walk gives Wes +1 to his ATK and +3 to his HIT on his next attack for every turn he does not engage in battle after the skill's usage. This can give him a maximum of +5/15 respectively to one attack. If he double attacks, the second attack does get the bonus. If he is attacked while in Sunset Walk stance, the enemy gains +5 hit for every turn Wes has been in this stance (maximum of 25), but loses 1 ATK for each turn as well (maximum deficit of 5). If Wes launches the attack, then the enemy still loses 1-5 ATK, but does not gain a hit bonus. Spin Strike causes the next attack to actually be 6 hits, however, each hit has half the normal ATK and HIT%s, but double the Crit rate. These attacks also ignore defense. On the turn after using this ability, however, Wes suffers from Dizzy status, which halves his avoid and causes him to be unable to take action for that turn. General Comments: I originally had Supports with Vash, Rhianna, and Fitch in the third slide, but it clashed with the Skills template so I removed it and used the expanded Weapon Skill set to fill in the space. I had to heavily modify the skill template to get it to fit in with the FE7 theme, the only original part of it left is the word "Skills", which I would have changed, but there wasn’t enough usage of the FE7 special font (See the word "Equipment" in the second slide near the bottom) to edit it. I also would have changed the words "Weapon and Support Level" above the slide, but couldn't for the same reasons. I've had this idea for a while, but I didn't find out Sprites were allowed on Deviantart until recently. There's more where this came from, including but not limited to: Battle Scenes, more Stat Sheets, and other Fire-Emblem-esque semi-custom goodies. Although making battle sprites for anthropomorphized characters is proving to be exceedingly difficult. The style is built for distinctly human and monster-like characters, so don't expect photorealistic anthro-battles any time soon. Although you may want to look forward to animated battle scenes with audio when I get enough money for Flash. Some will be Dendyn-themed, but expect some original work along with it. To see the original flash, go to it through Ryanide's profile (above). It's currently marked as his featured deviation, though that is subject to change. All work was done in MS Paint. EDIT: Changed some stats (DEF/RES -1, STR/HP +1) changed the weapon, and added his axe (Sunrise Hammer), though the bubble from Sunset Edge covers most of it and the axe skill level in the third slide (E). In case you wanted to know, Wes's sword is called "Sunset edge". He also has an axe as well called "Sunrise hammer" but I haven't drawn him with that one yet.
Also, Wes is supposed to have very high attack power, but you got his poor accuracy skills correct, so that's good.
